Conceptual Design Illustrations

It is my goal to create illustrations with heavy emphasis on conceptual design and graphical appeal.  Great strives are taken ensuring my work flows smoothly and seamlessly between elements and design.  I endeavor to use my extensive training and experience, including many different forms and styles of art, to produce edgy and striking illustrative designs.  My choice tool of creation when it comes to illustration is Cintiqs and Wacom Tablets.

Education

Academy of Art University (San Francisco, CA)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts (BFA), major in Illustration and Conceptual Design
- Educated in composition, perspective, human anatomy, color theory, shape/form, focal point/designs, line, sculpture, traditional and digital illustration, thumbnails, value/contrast, vector/logo design, graphic design, printing, digital publications, inking, photo manipulation, storyboarding

Experience

Professional/Commission Illustrations                                                        2011 - Current
- Published short, interactive book titled Void Zero in the Apple Store.  (Located within an app called AAU Press on the iPad only)
- Collaborates with clients to produce an array of illustrations from posters and paintings to conceptual art and logos.
- Exceptional prowess using Cintiq to generate a majority of my top-notch illustrative works.

Rocket EMS      (July 2020 - Present)
Shipping/Receiving Manager
Position includes (but not limited to):
- Shipping Domestically/Internationally by use of FedEx, UPS, DHL, Freight Forwarders, and 3PLs
- Managing/Tracking Inventory by use of Cycle Counts, Offsite/Onsite Warehouse Storage
- Frequent communication with Planners, Program Managers, Buyers, Inventory Control/Stockroom as well as Customers.
- Supervises/Manages Shipping Clerks, Receiving Clerks, and Delivery Drivers.

Hobby Lobby     (May 2015 – February 2018)
Customer Service Manager (CSM)/Department Lead
As a CSM, the position included:

- Supervision of the cashiers and cashiering responsibilities
- Greeting Guests and Helping Maintain Security
As a Department Lead, the position included:
- Inventory Control, Ordering, Unloading, Replenishing, and Material Handling through a system of Min/Max
- Constantly Condensing and Relocating Inventory, Creating Displays to attract Customers
Achievements Include: Promoted to CSM from a cashier position after only one week, Promoted to Department Lead after two years.
